Day 2 of being home ALONE in peace and quiet! I wish I could create cards faster! I am so slow....this is all that I have gotten done today is this one card! (of course, I did sleep til 10am, and then clean until noon!)
Seriously, this card is making me want to go pour myself a glass of wine! Doesn't it look deliciously inviting?! I actually may give this to a friend of mine who just lost her job. Sadly, my company hasn't been doing so well I guess....first they cut my pay (on my birthday, that sucked!) and then on Friday, it was just awful....alot of my coworkers lost their jobs. I guess I am lucky to still be there, but I can't help but be scared I could be next. I'm trying to not worry about it because , well, its not like I can control it, and everyone always tells me not to worry about things that are out of my control! (maybe I will get that glass of wine....!)
Im entering this in 2 challenges:
1. CAS-ology week 64: Harvest
I wanted to play along with this all week, but couldnt' think of anything to do. But hey....grapes are harvested for wine right? makes total sense!
2. Moxie Fab world: The color media challenge.
I know, I've entered alot of times in this! But i'm having so much fun with colors! This card was made entirely on water color paper! I stamped the background stamp with a bunch of shades of green in distress ink, spritzed it with water, then stamped. Did the same for the wine bottle and grapes! The grapes I had to fill in with my waterbrush and ink, as they were just an outline stamp. I just LOVE watercolor paper!
Gonna try and get one or 2 more cards done before the kids get home and my sanity slowly slips away again ;) Thanks for visiting my blog!
