i signed up for tim holtz's creative chemistry 102...and i love it! sharing a card i made using a technique from lesson #1, which focused on distress paints. This was the 'industrial' technique, which i loved! Here is my card:
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
1. Moxie Fab World: the stickers and tape challenge. I handcut out the moon, and then wrapped washi tape around it. fun eh? this was actually my very first time using washi tape!
2. Moxie Fab World: the metal, wood and cork challenge. the entire center circle of this card is foil paper, which is metal! i love how this turned out!
3. CASology week 65: CRISP. I am still unsure of this one, but i was thinking....a crisp cool night, where the moon and stars are out? my inner circle is supposed to be representative of 'stars'....so .....im going with it. i never win here anyways....lol....so what the hey...!
4. Drunken Stampers #144, person, Neil Armstrong. get the reference? the moon ;)
before i go....i have to share this other picture. omg....when i craft, i make a MESS! my craft room is in my bedroom now, as there is nowhere else to put it. i have my scrapbox on a wall and that little teeny pull out table is all i have to work on.....so i throw stuff on the bed while im working. check out my cat Niles, all curled up amongst my craft supplies...how cute!
So, regardless of if i win or lose any of the challenges i entered for this card, i am in love with it. i love love love how it turned out. im so happy im taking this creative chemistry class!!! tim is an AMAZING instructor! so if you share my sentiments of loving this card, THANKS! my loving boyfriend was my muse once again...he's the best ;)
goodnight!
