I used the same color scheme and layout. You can't see it behind the ribbon, but I have the same cut out slope!  I got this stampset the other day from Papertrey , and I love it! I want to make lots of Christmas cards with this set ;)

Tuesday Trigger: Apache tears in the key of Autumn

I almost forgot to do this weeks Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World!!

Here is my take (well...2 of them....I did one, then had a different idea!.....so Cath, both cards are entered!)





 I was inspired by the colors! so fun and bright! The first one was my original idea....then, it was so busy, i tried to tone it down a bit

Mine is yeah...WAY distressed! but, I did use the elements of Marions card. I have chevrons instead of straight lines in the one corner....and notebook paper instead of a straight line...and hot air balloons instead of a bird. and mine is a little more busy. But, this is how I was inspired!!!

Happy Hauntings!

wow did i have zero mojo tonight!!! this card was after what seemed like a million attempts that ended up in the trash! but alas...i have a card.....and it even fulfilled all of the challenges i was attempting to do as well!

I was tempted to post the other card that was just sooooo bad....lol....but yeah....I didn't. it's bad!

On another note.....yesterday was exciting!  I finally...finally...FINALLY....filed my divorce papers!!! woohoo!!! As long as he goes and signs them , I could be officially DIVORCED from him in a few weeks!  I'm so excited. I mean.....Jon and I have been living happily together for a while, but I am still legally 'married'. I had to do it on my own, since I can't afford a lawyer. I finally did it! I can't wait to get the final decree in the mail. It feels so good to have just filed!!!

Congrats!

 I made this card tonight for a coworker of mine who's last day is tomorrow. She got a new job and I'm going to miss her!!! I'm so happy for her that she found a great job in her field though, so....congrats to Valerie!!!!! Of course....a few challenges involved here. I used the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch

and...once again, I played with colors!!! Blended different shades of distress ink, sprayed it with water while still on the block, then stamped onto watercolor paper.  I just love this technique!!! The yellow lantern is actually the second generation stamp too....the first stamp was too intense, I liked it when I stamped it a second time better.   So yes, I'm entering this in Moxie Fab World's Color Media Challenge (again, for the millionth time.....)!

well...i dunno......i think i will wait until it happens on friday to tell my news...its pretty exciting to me, i hope you will come back to hear it!!!!!

 This is another card using a technique I learned in Creative Chemistry 102. it is a Shabby Chic technique with embossing powder. I just love how it turned out! I went to Michaels this morning and found this beautiful feather stamp (had to have it!) and thought it was perfect fot the technique. Id like to enter this in a the following challenges:

Another card I made from Tim Holtz's creative chemistry 102!! I'm so sad all the lessons are over, this was a great class!
This card, i used the sticky embossing technique to add glitter to my embossed images. i never even HEARD of sticky embossing powder until yesterday!!! luckily, I found some at Michaels!!!
Details of the glitter....it kind of went everywhere. i need to polish this tecnique a bit...but im happy with it!!! Entering in a few challenges....
1.  Moxie Fab World Color Media Challenge (and Cath....I have another one after this one to post still....im so sorry, i feel bad you have to keep comingto my blog. i just really love doing different color media, and well...the challenge had a LONG time window!)
