Genuine Beauty

Well, I took these fabulous pictures of the girls last week, and wanted badly to scrapbook them! I saw a challenge on Simon Says Stamp and Show that was well...challenging! The challenge was to do something in the style of Tim Holtz! Normally....this wouldn't be a problem...but I had never attempted a layout in this style! The picture seemed to fit the challenge though, so I gave it a whirl! Here is what I came up with:

I don't know if I did Tim justice...but I did my best! And now I think I need to go back to cards for a bit...this was stressful! LOL! thanks for stopping by!

    Such a beautiful layout! You've incorporated elements from Tim's signature products but the resulting LO is definitely your own creation. I love how the tree bark in the picture reverberates through the rest of the page via your use of forest and autumnal colours. Just lovely!
