i just won tickets to go to the race tomorrow! from my fav driver nonetheless...dennyhamlin!! woohool!!!!!!! he is giving me his tix for tomorrw....i have to go to bed now so i can get up and drive there at 3am..lol..so here are the rest of my 365 cards quickly, so i don't miss deadline!

AND...in honor of my new gig at the Pixie Cottage, I threw in a Pixie cottage stamp!!! It was perfect for this challenge!!!! It is the actually 'pixie cottage' stamp...love it!!!

365 Cards, day 26 and 27

Figure I might as well start adding cards 2 at a time or I will be blogging all night!!! A few more cards for 365 cards here.....this first one is for Day 26, card recipe. Recipe was: 2 squares, 3 circles, ribbon, sentiment and 5X5 card. I also included Simply Scrapping Crafts color challenge 4 in this one....

This next card is for 365 Day 27: Im touched. If I am understanding the concept, I am supposed to have 8 elements on card that overlap with at least 2 other elements...I hope I did this right, as I made a bunch of trees that all overlap with each other....does this cover me? LOL! The colors are from Simply Scrapping's Color challenge 4...yellow green, peach, and white! Yes...another kind of unconventional Christmas card, but, well, I'm determined to get them done early this year!!!

I made this card for Karen's Doodles Challenge Blog...challenge 3! The challenge is to make a fancy folded card! I have always wanted to try out an easle card, so, this was fun!!! Oh....and this card has a home in mind too...one of Alexis' classmates had to have her tonsils out, along with some other un-fun stuff for a 5 yr old....so we are going to send this to her....I hope it makes her feel better!!!

FF#28 at the Shoe!

Fashionista Friday #28 is up and running over at the Shoe! This week we are going GREEN! Find those hidden treasures around the house and recycle them on your projects! I turned around in my scraproom to the massive pile of boxes I have and ripped off part of one for my card base, I love the distressed look it gives!!! Oh...and I also was inspired for my card from a card out of Papercrafts magazine's 2010 Stamp It issue. Page 46, designer Kim Hughes used cardboard as a base with a piece of PP slanted over it...I loved the look and had to give it a try!! I don't know where to find Kim, but, well....credit where credit is due when lifting an idea on a card right? Thanks Kim!

I made this card for 365 Day 23..Stencil it! I cant' find my stencils, so I decided to grab some grungeboard that I had used, and well, use the leftovers as a stencil. I used twinkling h2o's to paint the flowers through the 'stencils'. they looked great....until I added them to this card...then it just all went wrong! It is what it is...they can't all be perfect right?

I made the new Design Team at the Pixie Cottage!!!!! I'm super excited to be working with such amazingly talented gals over there!!! I've always been in AWE of the fabulous projects I see over there, so to be a part of it...WOW!!! I'm a new jr designer!!! please be sure to stop by the Pixie Cottage and check out all of the new DT, like I said, I am honored to be among such talent!!! Oh, and I have all the ladies linked on my left sidebar...be prepared to be inspired!! Can't wait to get started!!!

Serendipity SWEET!

Yes...I know, almost same title, but I actually had a stamp with that on it, and used it on this card!!! I almost forgot to post this actually, I had a horrible headache and went to lay down and well...almost was out for the night!!! I made this for 365cards, Day 20: Let's make some noise. Mine has keys dangling that jingle together for noise! I'd also like to enter this in blog my BFF showed me called Gingersnap Creations for their GC47 Color challenge: Copper, Ginger or Rust. I did my best to incorporate these colors into my card. Anyways...hoping this headache goes away, I think it is lack of caffeine, I haven't had any in 2 days....I did just make a pot of coffee so we shall see the verdict on that one soon! sweet serendipity

I have been cleaning out my craft room in preparation for a yardsale at my LSS where I am selling some stuff. I found some stuff today....wow! Tons of fun stuff I forgot I had! One thing in particular was like finding the pot of gold though...a kit my BFF Lesley made for me in a swap at least a year ago! It contained the PERFECT ingredients for a few of the challenges I was attempting to do!!! The main one was for 365 today....their challenge for day 18 was plentiful patterns, and the patterns you could chose from were: plaid, paisley, gingham, houndstooth, toile. Im like...toi-what??? I had no idea what 'toile' meant! So...I googled! And then I remembered the kit! It has toile ribbon! AND plaid paper!!! What are the odds? And since I had a houndstooth cuttlebug embossing folder, well....good to go!!! The thing I need to point out about this card that I absolutely cannot take credit for....the flower. WOW. Lesley made this! I mad an attempt at one of these a while back and failed miserably!!! Thanks Les!!!!!

I won the Silver Medal!!!

A few weeks ago, I entered the Olympics of Stamping over at Moxie Fab World. There were over 450 entries..I figured...no way I will win!! BUT.....I awoke one morning to find....that I HAD WON! A silver medal in the Season's Greeting's category!!! This is such an honor! I still can't believe they picked my card!!! When the kids are away.....

Mommy will PLAY! The YMCA does 'parent's night out' once a month...where they watch the kids for 3.5 hours! Normally, Jaime and I go out...but he had duty...so I PLAYED!!! Some Bunny Loves You

I have made a few cards in past few days and well...time to start posting em! This one is for La-La land crafts blog, LLWWC #29: pastel colors! I used one of their brand new digi stamps for this one! I hope it is pastelly enough...i realize the orange may be a little too 'bright'...but i did my best!
The other challenge this is for is 365 Day 11: Lovely Landscape. I created my landscape with the cloud paper and the floral paper....i just added a few flowers on top of the PP on the flower part!
