so last time i got on here and made a card, i might have had a bit too much fireball......
but today i am back to (sort of!) normal, and have made a card for the love of my life for valentines day!
I have several challenges to upload this card to....as everyone is having the same theme this week!!!!
I saw this sentiment on one of Wendi Vechi's cards on facebook and just thought it was perfects, so i used my Close to my Heart alphabet stamp and created it on my own. the embossing folder and paterned paper are all CTMH!!!
Here are the challenges:
1. City Crafter # 248 You Matter. trust me. he MATTERS!
2. CASology week 133: Love!
3. Friday Mashup 196 Love is in the air! I actually mashed it up this time! red white and pink, AND a love theme!
4. MUSE # 104! Here is the inspiration by Michele Ferguson:
thats all i have for now.
on another note. i have been extremely uptight and stressed out lately. if anyone reads this, im reaching out to YOU! i used to use crafting as an outlet to relax....nowadays, with working and 5 kids, and homeowrk and cooking dinner, etc.....its hard to find time. i need to MAKE the time! i feel so much better after sitting at my table and creating something! i need to find a reason to do it more often! help me! please!
that all i got!
thanks for visiting my blog tonight, i with i had some type of obligation where i HAD to create, that would crack the whip for me!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to create the lettering! This would be a fabulous mixed media card. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.
ReplyDeleteI LOve that sentiment, Tracey!! What a darling home it has found... happy Valentine day... and thanks for playing cards with me at Muse!!

So beautiful, thanks for sharing with us at CCCB!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Tracey! Very heartfelt and love how you have put this all together. I certainly hear you re balancing home, work, school and craft life. It is definitely a struggle! I have had to satisfy myself with snatching time where I can and be contented with that, hence less cards 😞. Sometimes just knowing that I have found this lovely hobby is good enough. I take a longterm view. One day our little ones will not require as much of our attention 😉. In the meantime, we just do what we can and not be too hard on ourselves. Take care, and thanks for joining us at CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteOh my, this is awesome and so unique. Very creative wording. Found you on Muse. :)

Simply stunning. Thanks so much for joining us at CCCB!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean; I am working full time. But...my sons are grown up and living on their own. That's a huge difference. But still; there is enough to do. Try to squeeze in some time; even if it's 10 minutes. Pick your supplies at the first 10 minutes. If there is no time you can pick your design the next day or search the blogs or Pinterest for inspiration. Remember; it's a moment to relax and do something you love. And even if there is little time; create a CAS card. There will be time when your children are a bit older. Take care!
Cute card! I loved the sentiment and the stamp set used!
