Moxie Fab--Gray is the new Black!

I happened upon this challenge over at Moxie Fab a few days ago and have been toying with it ever since! After a few attempts that ended up in the garbage.....I finally think I have perfected it!!! There are 2 different color schemes, but both are accented with GRAY! I made a bunch of these as I am sending them with my husband when his ship deploys for 6 months on Thursday. The inside says 'happy valentines day!' Im hoping he will pass them out to some of the other guys to mail home to their wives/girlfriends (or husbands/boyfriends--there are ladies on the ship too!) At the very least, I SHOULD get a valentine right??? So here are 2 versions of the same card, featuring 'gray is the new black'





I should also note the other challenge this card is for. I got the sketch from Unscripted Sketches (sketch #88) Here is the sketch:


Also, the orange card fits with Basic Grey challenges, #35, dots and spots! it uses a sheet of Basic Grey Sugar Rush paper ;)

lazy day...

I decided to be lazy today and stay in my pj's all day and maybe do some crafting. Well...didn't turn out too good, or maybe I"m just THAT good at being lazy, I was too lazy to even get anything accomplished! In an entire day, I managed to get one card done. There was an attempted second card, but well....I'm chalking it up to 'wasn't meant to be'....(yeah, it was BAD!)

Sketchabilities, sketch #38

Hope everyone had a happy holiday. I have been absent, haven't felt very crafty lately, been super busy, just haven't been able to sit down and dig in! I saw this sketch on sketchabilities though and may have found some creative mojo ;) Here is the sketch:

All supplies are Close to My Heart aside from the 'hang on to your' stickers! Im amazed I was able to use THAT MUCH CTMH! Anyways...let's hope the mojo is back to stay! thanks for visiting my blog today ;)
