that's it...i QUILT!

I REALLY like the title over at 365 cards today...so I had to give it a try!!! The challenge today, for day 38, was to use this template to make a card!

So...I got out my needle and thread (LOL!) and started quilting!!! Actually...I got out my gel pen and started FAKE quilting...much faster!!!

I'm very sad today though....I will be packing up and heading to visit family for a while...and won't get to scrap much for the first half of my trip...guess I won't be catching up on all the cards for a while....guess I will just have to have another marathon card making day eh? I'll check back in as often as I can and HOPEFULLY get my scrappy fix once or twice!!!!!!!

back to CARDS!

Well..I took some time off from cardmaking lately, but am happy to report...I'm BACK!!! I made 5 cards today actually! 2 were for my blog If the shoe fits...scrap it, and 3 were for 365 Cards! Plus, I have a card from the other night I forgot to post for 365!! I have REALLY fallen behind over there with this break! Catching up will be fun though right? LOL!!! So...without further ado....my cards!

First one if for today, day 36: super sketchy sunday. Here is my adaptation to the sketch, it is pretty much well...the sketch!

next is for day 35, ad inspired challenge. Here is the ad I was inspired by:

and here is my card! I used the pattern on the bed as my inspiration...so springy!

on to day 34: that's egg-cellent! My card used a bunch of eggs! I actually scraplifted this card from my BFF Lesley, she made a card very similar for our blog a while back, and i LOVED it..so...i copied!

and for day 33: White Space...this one was EASY! I love easy!!! didn't take long to make a nice negative space card!!!

You might be wondering...how did I get all this done today??? WELL...my husband decided to FINALLY give me a DAY! So...he packed up the kids and took them to his brothers for the day...how GREAT! I sat my butt on the couch with all my scrapstuff, my computer, a case of beer, and my nascar! It was wonderfully relaxing! So much so, that i am ready to fall asleep and it is only 7pm!! My Mikey didn't have a great day, but I DID! As I was able to focus ALL my attention on the race and my cardmaking! I hope he does that again...i REALLY needed it!!!

As if I needed anything else....I now have another thing to add to my Michael Waltrip collection. I made this for a challenge on cafemom, and as soon as I saw the challenge, I KNEW what I was going to make! It is an altered coaster, magnet! So...I can proudly display it on my refrigerator. I don't think I had anything of Mikey in my kitchen....so...now I do!!!

Qualifying just ended at Texas Motor Speedway, and OMG! MWR has the pole! Yes...David 'the franchise' Reutimann is sitting on the pole! WTG GUYS! Can't wait for the race this Sunday WHICH I get to watch in peace and quiet, as my husband has told me he is taking the kids to his brothers for the day! WOOHOOOO!!! My first time ALONE in my house! A case of beer and nascar is all I will need! Oh...and my new favorite online video...yes..MWR news has a video now of Michaels Weekend Workout! SERIOUSLY! I watched it in AWE! I think they may have put it on there just for me....(one can only hope...!) *sigh* Now off to do some more crafting....Have a great weekend everyone!
